As part of the Ohio State University football team’s Real Life Wednesday program, Crabbe, Brown & James Managing Partner Larry H. James was honored with the opportunity to address the players, coaches, and staff on March 5, 2019. Mr. James spoke about navigating the various court, administrative, and political systems that work to entrap young adults.  Topics ranged from introducing the structure of Ohio’s courts to parking tickets to the impact a decision in college can have on their future employment and career years down the road.

Former Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer started the Real Life Wednesday program when he took over as head coach in 2013. The program continues under current head coach Ryan Day and is directed by Ryan Stamper, Director of Player Development. The goal of the program is to prepare players for life after college and beyond football. Past speakers include JPMorgan Chase chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon, Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert, Nike co-founder Phil Knight, and many more.
