Crabbe, Brown & James is excited to announce that Managing Partner, Larry H. James, has been appointed as Chair to the Board of Directors of the Gateway Film Center. Mr. James is a leader in the Columbus arts community. Specifically, Mr. James has served as President of the Lincoln Theatre Association Board and President of the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Performing & Cultural Arts, as well as a Board Trustee for the Greater Columbus Arts Council and the Columbus Museum of Art,
The Gateway Film Center is a nonprofit cinema that believes in the powers of movies to strengthen, unite, challenge, and inspire its community. They are committed to screening films from around the world with a sustainable business model. They curate an experience where the stories shown and the artists who create them are treated with respect and appreciation. Most recently, Mr. James has been involved in the Center’s program titled Pioneers of African American Cinema, which features a collection of the earliest African American films.
