Biography

Renee Black joined Crabbe, Brown & James in January 2022 following working for the Ohio Domestic Violence Network as a legal assistant and after graduating with a bachelor’s degree (with a concentration in criminology) from The Ohio State University in August 2021.  Prior to attending The Ohio State University, she worked for Anthony Law as a litigation paralegal and prior to that Musser, Long, & Harris.  While Renee also obtained her associates (Arts & Science) and paralegal certification from Columbus State Community College, she acquired most of her legal experience while working as a legal intern for Musser, Long, & Harris and then transitioning into a full-time paralegal for almost seven years.

Renee is currently a pro bodybuilder (in the figure division), but also has participated in individual and team sports at an early age.  This allows her to bring her expertise as a leader, but also allows her to flourish in a team environment at Crabbe, Brown & James.
